He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favour has come” (Luke 4:18-19). The woman exercised her faith by believing and saying that if she could just touch Jesus’ clothing, she would be healed.

What are you saying about your circumstances? Are you saying that this year will be the best year you’ve ever had? Are you saying that you are growing in faith? Are you saying that your life, your family, your health, your finances are thriving because of the Word of God operating in your life?

Step 4: Do the Word To Come Alive In 2025

“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says.” –James 1:22

The woman who was bleeding didn’t stay at home, despite the law holding her hostage. Once she heard the Word, believed the Word and spoke the Word, she then became a doer of the Word. She took action! She braved the streets and went in search of Jesus. She was convinced that if she could get to Him, He would heal her.

What kind of action can you take in regard to what you’re believing to come alive in 2025? For instance, if you’re believing for a job, you can buy an outfit for your interview. If you’re believing for a car, you can test drive some cars. If you’re believing for a loved one to be saved, you can put their picture where you can see it each day. There are many ways to put action to your faith. It’s the fourth step in 7 Steps To Come Alive In 2025.

Step 5: Receive the Word To Come Alive In 2025

“Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God – which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.” –1 Thessalonians 2:13

When you receive the Word, it works in you. In the Greek, receive means “take.” Jesus commented about the woman who reached out and touched the fringe of His garment: “Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me” (Luke 8:46). “And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” –Revelation 12:11

According to the law at that time, not only was this woman was not supposed to be in public because she was unclean due to the issue of blood; she was also not supposed to touch a man. When she made the decision to speak up and testify that it was she who had touched Jesus, she acknowledged what Jesus had done and publicly declared her healing (verses 47-48). She no longer had to stay home and hide. She could go to the market and the synagogue, and visit friends and relatives. She was free!

When God answers your prayers, testify! Tell everyone what He did for you. Tell them how God gave you His Word, how you believed it in your heart, and how you released it. Step 7: Share the Word To Come Alive In 2025

“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” –Mark 16:15-18

Before Jesus left the earth, He gave His disciples one last command – a command He wants you to follow. He wants you to go and tell the good news of who He is, what He has done for you, and what He wants to do for everyone.
