How to Pray for Your Children

08/09/2021

No parent wants to see their children walk away from God, so how can you pray for them?

Here is a confession of faith and it doesn’t matter where your children are – in the room or a thousand miles away. You don’t have to be in their presence to take authority over Satan.

Pray and Believe God

Father, Your Word is true and I believe it. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that the WORD of God prevails over my children. Your WORD says that You will pour out Your Spirit upon my offspring and Your blessing upon my descendants. I believe and say that my children are wise and they take heed to and are the fruit of godly instruction and correction. I love my children and I will diligently discipline them early. Because of that, they give me delight and rest.

Father, I take Your Word that says You give safety to my children and bless them day by day. They are blessed when they come in and when they go out. I confess that You, Lord, give Your angels special charge over my children to accompany and defend and preserve them. I believe they find favour, good understanding and high esteem in Your sight, Lord, and in the sight of man.

I confess that my children are disciples taught of the Lord and obedient to Your will. Great is their peace and undisturbed composure. I believe I receive wisdom and counsel in bringing up my children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. And Your Word declares that when they are old they will not depart from it. So I commit them to Your keeping and I know and have confident trust that they are watched over and blessed of the Lord all the days of their lives, in Jesus’ Name.

8 Promises From God About Your Children

Here are some scriptures that will help you stay focused on God’s promises regarding your children.

1 − “Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they [your children] shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border” (Jeremiah 31:16-17).

2 − “And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children” (Isaiah 54:13).

3 − “…The seed of the righteous shall be delivered” (Proverbs 11:21).

4 −  “…Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed” (Psalm 112:1-2).

5 − “…I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children” (Isaiah 49:25).

6 − “The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works” (Psalm 145:9).

7 −  “…I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring” (Isaiah 44:3).

8 −  “As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and forever” (Isaiah 59:21).

Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Kenneth Copeland Ministries - Europe to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Kenneth Copeland Ministries - Europe we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

NOTE:  You must be UK-domiciled for Tax purposes to be eligible in principle for this scheme.  If you have any doubts about your tax status in the UK, check with the HMRC (the UK tax authority) before making a declaration as you will be liable for any monies incorrectly recovered under the Gift Aid scheme.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like KCM Europe to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. KCM Europe will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 given.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Kenneth Copeland Ministries - Europe receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.
