Living Stress Free!

Psalm 145:3 tells us, “Great is The LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” The LORD’s greatness has no boundaries. He is working on our behalf every day! Praise God for all the great things He is doing in our lives.

Living Stress Free

We are living in an amazing faith momentum time. Pastor Terri and I release our faith with yours that whatever need you have is already supplied, every debt is cancelled, and that you have more than enough so that you can be a blessing to others. As a matter of fact, we believe and agree that you have TOO MUCH!

Hebrews 12:1-2 says, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

It is time to lay aside all the worry, care and stress.

There are many reasons why we should live stress free. One of those reasons is the effect stress has on the body. All you have to do is compare pictures of our nation’s presidents when they first entered office to those when they left. The aging difference is astounding!

Proverbs 14:30 in the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, reveals a stunning truth about stress: “A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bone.” The Living Bible says, “A relaxed attitude lengthens a man’s life; jealousy rots it away.”

We do not have to allow stress and pressure to enter our lives. Psalm 34:19 tells us that, “many are the afflictions of the righteous: but The LORD delivereth him out of them all.” The word, “afflictions” relates to stressful, pressurized situations. The LORD delivers us out of them ALL!

Jesus is calling out to all who have been experiencing an abnormal amount of stress. Receive this wonderful scripture in Matthew 11:28-30, AMPC, as a personal word from The LORD directly to you: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me,
for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.” I especially like that last part, “My burden is light and easy to be borne.”

There is a special place of divine rest in the midst of whatever pressure might be swirling around you today. Take a moment right now to look at Jesus and receive His peace. He knows exactly what to do. He has the answers for whatever you are facing. Receive His wisdom and guidance.

Whenever stress tries to climb aboard in your life, just declare this wonderful faith statement: “I refuse the pressure and stress. I choose instead to enter the rest.” Then, watch the stress, care and worry melt away.

Receiving the rest with you,

Pastor George
