Jutvari Protestant Church is helping to equip and support the Roma Gypsy community through teaching, outreaches and sowing of monthly finances to build two churches in their communities.
Craig and Milena Sibthorpe pastor a Bulgarian Church in Plovdiv where they feed people good, practical bible teaching to enable them to overcome “the world, the flesh and the devil” and win in everyday life.
Pastor Serbis and Pastor Sasco are pastors in the Roma Gypsy communities and have been supported by Jutvari with finances, friendship, and doctrinal support. In both these cases, the Lord used Craig and Milena to encourage these men to establish churches.
These men are Roma Gypsies and their aim is to “nourish up in the words of faith” all believers that they come in contact with, “spurring one another on toward love and good deeds”.
How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
Thank you KCM
It’s hard to estimate the effect of KCM on the global Church! No one nowadays seriously believes it’s God’s will for us to be sick and poor but they used to! That change of belief in the church is largely down to the work of KCM which endured terrible persecution, especially in the 70s and 80s while reaching the world with this wonderful message.
In 1986 I was thrilled to hear about Kenneth Copeland for the first time while in a bible school in Colorado. This is when I became a giver.
In 1989 I visited the Bath office. I was thrilled to find they had a UK office. I started devouring and distributing the Believer’s Voice of Victory magazine and other Word of Faith materials.
In 1990 Milena and I, newly married, attended our first International Believers Convention in Bournemouth. It was brilliant.
In 2001 We moved to Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Milena’s home city. At first, we worked with the Roma Churches and then started a church with mainly native Bulgarians.
In 2003 KCM began supporting our ministry and continues to do so.
We would like to thank Kenneth and Gloria for their courage and obedience to God which resulted in us hearing about how to believe God, and how to triumph in life.
Testimonies
21 years ago we met Pastor Sasco and his young family.
He clearly was a ministry gift and was riding his bike each week 20km to visit a church in a nearby village. Sometimes he was attacked by dogs on route! With the Lord’s help we brought a building for this church in Nayden Gerovo, and built a 150 m2 building in his garden in Saedinenie for the church we started there. Thanks to KCM, we have been able to support him financially each month ever since.
17 years ago we met Pastor Serbis. He was running a small home group in one of the Roma Ghettos (Sheker Mahala ) in Plovdiv. Here 10 to 15 Christian families are surrounded by 10,000 plus Muslims! They were badly persecuted by their neighbors. With the Lords help, we have been able to start a church, get it a building and support him financially each month.
