Praying for Pakistan

The staff at KCM Europe are praying for those affected by the devastating floods in Pakistan and we are asking our Partners and Friends to do the same.

Record monsoon rains have lashed Pakistan and have affected 33 million people – 15% of its population – according to government officials and aid organisations.

Praying for Pakistan (1)

We are praying Psalm 91 over our Partners and Friends that have been affected. Please join us in praying:

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, we thank You that You watch over Your Word to perform it.

Father, we pray for our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. We declare that they dwell in the secret place of the Most High and they shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty – whose power no foe can withstand.  We will say of You, Lord, “The Lord is their refuge and their fortress, my God; on Him they lean and rely, and in Him they will confidently trust!”

For then You will deliver them from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.  Then you will cover them with Your feathers, and under Your wings shall they trust and find refuge.  Your truth and Your faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

Father, You are their confidence, firm and strong.  You keep their feet from stumbling, from being caught in a trap or hidden danger.  Father, You give them safety and ease them.  We know You will keep our brothers and sisters in Pakistan, in perfect peace because their mind is stayed on You, and they trust in You.  We thank You, Lord, that when they lie down You will give them peaceful sleep, for You sustain them and make them dwell in safety.

We declare that they will not be afraid of the terror of the night, or of the arrow that flies by day, terrorist attacks, deadly diseases and pestilence that stalk in darkness, or of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at their side, and ten thousand at their right hand, but it shall not come near them.  Only a spectator shall they be – inaccessible in the secret place of the most High – as they witness the reward of the wicked.

In the name of Jesus we pray.

Amen

We are currently exploring Partner Ministries who are actively reaching those in need during this natural disaster.  We will be using funds from our Relief Fund to partner together.

Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows KCM Europe to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to KCM Europe we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

NOTE:  You must be UK-domiciled for Tax purposes to be eligible in principle for this scheme.  If you have any doubts about your tax status in the UK, check with the HMRC (the UK tax authority) before making a declaration as you will be liable for any monies incorrectly recovered under the Gift Aid scheme.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like KCM Europe to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. KCM Europe will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 given.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When KCM Europe receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.
