Have you ever plugged in an appliance in your home and then waited for it to come on, but it didn’t immediately happen? After a while, you realise that the appliance was plugged in but that you hadn’t switched it on!
If you have ever experienced this, you will know how obvious it is to switch the power on once you realise what has happened. You will also know that there was not a fault in the appliance or the power source, but it was a connection problem!
Jesus put it this way -“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. ” John15:15 NKJV
Turn On The Switch!
As believers we are already plugged in, but can be active in switching on the power that Jesus has made available to us. How do we do this? By reading speaking and listening to the words of Jesus.
